Traders’ Bar is celebrating spring’s arrival with a March of Italian wine specials.
Thanks to a collaboration with specialist importer Foodliner, Members are invited to savor three stellar Italian wines during happy hour throughout the month.
The lineup includes a soft and fruity Super Tuscan red blend from Col d’Orcia Nearco, awarded an impressive 93 points by Wine Spectator magazine, and two wines from Italy’s southern island of Sardinia.
This less-well-known winemaking region is home to Silvio Carta, a winery established in the 1950s. Its Cannonau (a local name for the Grenache red grape) and refreshing Vermentino (Sardinia’s main varietal) are a must-try. Alla salute!
