Masters

This challenging program is designed for advanced swimmers who can swim 100 meters in under 2 minutes.


What will I learn in this class?
This Sky Pool program focuses heavily on interval training, combined with proficient coaching and the use of equipment to develop swimmers’ physical and mental aptitudes. Participants will learn how to efficiently execute the four main strokes and prepare themselves for competition, whether at a masters meet, open-water race or triathlon.

What are the benefits of this class?
This challenging program is designed to build swimmers' endurance and speed through three weekly sessions of training, which equates to a total distance of around 10 kilometers of swimming.

Who will teach this class?
Miguel Ortiz-Cañavate represented Spain at the 2016 Rio Olympics and won the NCAA Division I title with the University of Michigan in 2013. He discussed his swim career in the May 2022 issue of INTOUCH magazine. Miguel is joined by his brother, Bruno Ortiz-Cañavate, who also represented Spain at the Rio Games and was part of the Division I-winning team at the University of Michigan in 2013.
